Types of paper contribution<\/mark><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Two types of papers will be considered; peer-reviewed and not-peer-reviewed. A full paper submission is necessary irrespectively of the paper type or presentation form (oral and poster). All accepted peer-reviewed papers will be labeled accordingly and included into the conference proceedings (open access with DOI).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00a0<\/strong>Form of paper contribution<\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Authors can apply for oral or poster presentations. The final decision will be notified by the Scientific Committee. The admittance for an oral presentation is not affected by the type of contribution (peer-reviewed or not-peer-reviewed). Posters<\/strong> must be vertically oriented and provided in DIN A1 size<\/strong> (59,4 cm x 84,1\u00a0cm).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Abstract submission<\/mark><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

For all kinds of contributions an abstract of 250 to 300 words must be submitted from 1st<\/sup> April 2021 until\u00a0<\/strong>31th<\/sup> July 2021<\/s> 15th<\/sup> September 2021<\/strong> .\u00a0For the submission of the abstract please use the\u00a0abstract template<\/a>\u00a0and complete all relevant fields on the\u00a0OCS Platform<\/a>\u00a0accordingly. Authors will be notified by September 6, 2021<\/s> September 20, 2021<\/strong> .<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Paper preparation and submission<\/mark><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

A full paper is required for every accepted contribution, either oral or poster.\u00a0 Authors can submit their contribution as a peer-review or non-peer-review paper.\u00a0 When preparing your paper please use this\u00a0manuscript template<\/a>. Papers submitted with incorrect formatting will be returned to authors.\u00a0 The full paper length must be between 6 to 8 pages long. All accepted contributions will have their abstract included into the conference book.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Peer-reviewed papers:\u00a0 <\/strong>Scientific papers reporting innovative research undertakings, activities, or specialized\/pioneer case studies of multi discipline character. The aim of the peer-review is to offer academic proof for a scientific publication as well as to assure and improve the quality of the paper.\u00a0 Peer-review accepted papers will be included into the open access conference proceedings with DOI. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

For a selection of outstanding peer-reviewed scientific contributions, the authors will have the chance to get an extended version in\u00a0Applied Geomatics<\/a><\/em><\/strong>, Journal of Applied Geodesy<\/em><\/strong><\/a>\u00a0or Virtual Archaeology Review<\/a><\/em><\/strong>\u00a0subject to a peer-review process.\u00a0 Manuscripts submitted for consideration for publication in the special issues must be an extended version, and only their abstracts will be included in the proceedings. Authors will have to submit their extended versions within 2 months<\/s> 4 months after the Symposium. For these selected papers, only the abstract along with a link to the journal would be included in the proceedings to preserve originality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Papers that are not accepted by the peer-review process will be included in the website as not-peer-reviewed papers.\u00a0 <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The deadline for submitting your peer-reviewed paper is\u00a0January 15, 2022<\/s> February 1, 2022<\/strong><\/strong> .<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Not-peer-reviewed papers: <\/strong>Papers reporting on-going projects with some initial but interesting results. Non-peer-reviewed papers will be available at JISDM website and their abstracts will be included into the conference book. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The deadline for submitting your not-peer-reviewed paper is\u00a0February 1, 2022<\/s> March 31, 2022<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the case you were opting for this latter type of contribution, please let us know by sending an email with the subject NON-PEER-REVIEWED CONTRIBUTION to the congress address (jisdm2022@upv.es)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Presentation preparation<\/mark><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

All papers must be presented at the conference either as an oral or a poster presentation to be included in the technical program and get published in the conference proceedings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Oral presentations: <\/strong>The presentation slot for each oral presentation will be 20 minutes, including 5 minutes of questions. Please prepare your oral presentation based on the provided power point template either for 16:9 (here<\/a>) or 4:3 (here<\/a>) slide ratio.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Poster presentations:<\/strong> The posters will be on display in the exhibition area in thematic groups during the conference.\u00a0 They must be vertically oriented and provided in DIN A1 size<\/strong> (59,4 cm x 84,1\u00a0cm). Please prepare your poster presentation based on the provided power point poster template<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

JISDM 2022 is using the OCS platform<\/a> of UPV Press to manage the submissions. In order to submit your abstract or paper, you must have an OCS account. OCS will provide you with a submissions homepage where you can register your paper submission and make appropriate changes. Please note that the submission preparation checklist includes to sign the statement of work ownership document<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
